Operation ELF is a New England based volunteer organization that has worked with dozens of local charities to ensure hundreds of children and families have a joyous holiday. Our generous donors provided over a hundred boxes of household goods and wish-list-come-true gifts for nearly 700 children.

The highlight of each year’s efforts is the annual community gathering held in the month of December. This event is where gifts are brought together and prepared for delivery to the many organizations who will pass them on to the children and families they sponsor. This year our gathering will be on Sunday, December 9, 2012 from 1:00 – 4:00 PM.

“What we are creating is pure magic for the children at the holidays,” said Sarah Blumenstock Girrell, the founder of Operation ELF (Everybody Loves Families) with her husband Kris Girrell. “This year we expect to have 900 children’s wish lists to fulfill! To do this, we need sponsors to open their hearts and choose a child’s wish list.”
